Camera overview
Keep an eye on every connection and recording.
Areas & privacy
Turn recording off without losing live view, or turn privacy on to stop both in this app.
Privacy stops this recorder and its live layouts. It does not delete existing footage or control camera SD cards, NAS recording, or other NVRs. Turning privacy off never resumes recording automatically.
All cameras 0
Your recorder is ready for cameras.
Add a camera using its IP address and existing login. Discovery can help locate ONVIF-enabled devices on the recorder’s network.
Recording library
Completed segments appear here. Downloads preserve the original recording; H.265 playback depends on your browser.
No completed recordings yet.
Start a camera and wait for the first segment to close.

Live stream
Privacy stops this app’s entire affected mosaic. Previously buffered client video cannot be recalled.
Closing the player does not stop the server stream. Use Stop to release its resources.
API access tokens
Grant a specific integration limited access. Tokens act as credentials. Keep them private and revoke any you no longer use.
Shared-clock playback
Up to 20 cameras, one wall-clock cursor. Missing footage is shown as a gap, never a frozen frame.
Clip exports
Exports contain individual-camera clips and a gap manifest. Original recordings are unchanged. Downloads expire after 24 hours.
Event monitoring
Enabled monitoring reads live video and buffers short segments between events. Saving configuration never clears privacy or manual/schedule holds. Arm is a separate deliberate action. Recording OFF stops continuous recording and event buffering; live view remains available.
Detected events
Latest 100 events for the selected camera. Event labels are detections, not verified facts.
Privacy & recording transition history
Read-only history, not current effective privacy. A historical success is not proof that a camera is private now. Pending and interrupted entries have no confirmed completion; inspect current camera status.
Recorder health
Uses existing recording/detection telemetry, not new camera probes. Frozen-frame alerts are suspicions; static scenes can look frozen.
Health thresholds
Schedules
Time-zone aware. Manual OFF and privacy holds are not overridden by a schedule. No catch-up runs after downtime.
Recent runs
Notification destinations
New destinations and subscriptions are disabled by default. Preview is local-only and never sends.
Event subscriptions
Delivery history
An uncertain send is not automatically retried, to avoid duplicate messages.
Camera integration
ONVIF Media1 profiles and Imaging2 IR-cut control. Hardware support varies. Read operations contact only the selected configured camera.
Day/night IR-cut filter
This controls the IR-cut filter where supported, not the infrared lamp. Plan first, then explicitly confirm the hardware change.
Storage safeguards
Retention removes old recordings automatically. Back up anything you need to keep.
Recording estimator
Continuous recording, calculated from average video bitrate.
Camera setup notes
- Hikvision main stream: /Streaming/channels/101
- Substream: /Streaming/channels/102
- Confirm the RTSP port in your camera configuration.
- ONVIF may be disabled or use a separate account.
- Docker Desktop and VLAN boundaries can block multicast discovery. Manual IP setup still works.
